Logging in and Registering for Courses in the MAR‐PHTC Learning Management System
Creating an Account
Home Page
Go to the LMS home page at https://lms.marphtc.pitt.edu/.
New Accounts
Click on the gray arrow to the right of the username and password boxes in the upper right corner of the screen.
Login Screen
Click on Create new account.
Creating an Account
Complete the registration
questions and click on the Create my new account button.
And click on the Create my new account button.
Email Verification
You will receive a confirmation email after you click the Create my new account button (shown below). Follow the instructions in the email to confirm your account. After you have confirmed
your account, you will be redirected to the Home Page.
After your account is confirmed, you will be able to register for courses. Log in to your new account and follow the “Registering for a Course” instructions below
Registering for a Course
Home Page
Go to the LMS home page at https://lms.marphtc.pitt.edu/.
Log In
Enter your username and password into the boxes in the upper right corner of the screen and click on the gray arrow.
Go to the Training Tab
Click on the Training dropdown arrow and choose Upcoming or
Public Health on Demand.
Users can either search for a course:
Enter a word into the search box in the upper right corner and click on the magnifying glass.
Or expand the menu to view all available courses:

Click on the gray arrow to the left of Upcoming (upcoming trainings)
or to the left of the category (on demand trainings):
Choose a Course
Click on the course title or the info icon to expand the course and view the description.

Register for a Course
Click on the Enroll me button on the bottom of the course page. The Enroll me button is only visible when you are logged in.
Registration Confirmation
Once you have clicked Enroll me, you will be redirected to a registration confirmation screen.
